Join Animal Trust Barnsley – Where Every Pet Matters

Are you a Veterinary Receptionist looking for a new role? At the Animal Trust, our mission is to offer affordable veterinary care to all pets, especially those whose owners face financial challenges. The rising cost of living has strained many, making it difficult for some to afford necessary vet care. We’ve seen the pain in pet owners’ eyes, understanding that their furry friend requires aid they can’t afford.

The Vision Behind Our Service

Our pioneering vet, Owen Monie founded Animal Trust with a singular belief: no pet should suffer due to financial constraints. Consequently, we’ve abolished consultation fees at our practices. Our doors are open to all, with transparent and reasonable prices for treatments detailed on our website.

Our Commitment to Community

Animal Trust stands unique as the UK’s sole Community Interest Veterinary Group, focusing on the well-being of our team, patients, and their owners over profits. Investing our profits back into the Trust, ensuring exceptional care standards at the most affordable rates. Moreover, our facilities boast state-of-the-art equipment, including CT scanners and specialized orthopaedic tools.

Veterinary Receptionist Role Significance

Veterinary Receptionists play a pivotal role in bridging clinical and administrative needs. With the supportive management team, you’ll champion our goal: ensuring every ailing pet can reach us. Responsibilities encompass appointment and finance handling; close collaboration with the clinical teams is vital. This ensures we deliver the utmost compassionate care to our furry clientele.

Core Duties as a Veterinary Receptionist

  • Extending a warm, empathetic welcome to clients and their pets.
  • Efficiently handling phone queries.
  • Dispensing medications prepared by the vet.
  • Upholding clinical cleanliness across the facility.
  • Assisting distraught clients, guiding them to the right support teams.
  • Processing payments, welcoming new clients, and addressing concerns.
  • Keeping the practice organized and stocked.
  • Abiding by health and safety standards.
  • Ensuring data protection and preserving client-pet confidentiality.

What We Seek in You

For those with a profound understanding of medical team pressures, coupled with empathy, stellar organization, and adept communication, Animal Trust beckons you. Prior experience in medical or veterinary reception is a plus, but what we value is your passion, dedication, and commitment to our cause. If you’ve comforted individuals during tough times, we’re interested. Vet visits can be challenging, especially when bidding adieu to a cherished family pet. Hence, your compassion and understanding are paramount. Expect us to delve into your experiences during the interview.

If you’re passionate about pet care and align with our mission, we’d love to hear from you. Even if you feel you might not tick every box, we encourage you to apply. Animal Trust Barnsley believes in a diverse and inclusive workplace. Let’s work together to make a difference.
