Veterinary Receptionist Manchester

Job Description:

As a Veterinary Receptionist in Manchester, you will be a vital link between our clients and the clinical team, contributing significantly to our mission. Your role encompasses a range of responsibilities, from administrative tasks to direct client interaction, ensuring smooth operation and a welcoming environment at our Failsworth Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting clients and their pets, maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
• Managing telephone inquiries and client correspondence.
• Handling and distributing medication prescribed by the veterinary team.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception, waiting areas, and consultation rooms.
• Managing sensitive client interactions, including those in distress, and directing them to appropriate support.
• Handling payments, client registration, and addressing client concerns.
• Assisting in the organization and restocking of the practice.
• Adhering to health and safety protocols and data protection legislation.

Candidate Profile:

• Empathetic and understanding, with excellent communication skills.
• Organized, with an ability to manage a busy reception environment.
• Experience in a medical or veterinary reception is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Experience in handling stressful situations, particularly in a client-facing role.

Job Particulars:

• Salary: £10.90 per hour.
• Contract: 35 hours per week, Permanent.
• Location: Failsworth.
