Affordable Vet Care in Rhyl
Animal Trust Rhyl was opened in 2022 after a half-million-pound conversion of the former Aldi Supermarket on Wellington Road. The conversion is a bright, modern facility and the ideal place to deliver care in a safe facility that's fit for modern medicine. The surgery not only sees clients from the local Rhyl, Prestatyn and Kimmel Bay areas but also from further afield, with the surgery being easily accessible from the A55 coast road and having ample onsite parking with electric charging points.
Many of the vets and nurses are very experienced clinicians and enjoy using their expertise to help owners with their pets' surgical, medical, and preventative care needs. The surgery can support a wide range of services, including free consults, investigations, and surgical procedures, imaging such as X-ray and ultrasound, dentistry, and preventive care like vaccines. Services such as CT scanning and 24/7 Inpatient and A&E services are also available at our hospital in Ellesmere Port.
The practice has no eligibility criteria to join and is dedicated to providing a valuable service to the pet-owning community.

Our Prices at Animal Trust Rhyl
For sick pet care you'll find many of our prices are market leading - especially when you consider the level of inclusivity in our services, such as our commitment to supporting pets through complications and prioritising quality standards. You can see some of our surgery, investigation and inpatient care costs here.
For elective procedures like vaccinations and neutering, we aim to offer fair pricing. However, rather than heavily discounting these services, we'd rather the revenue is used to keep urgent and lifesaving treatments more affordable, because when a pet is seriously ill, cost should never be a barrier to care.

Out of hours Pet A&E
Animal Trust provides emergency out-of-hours access at our Pet A&E centres.
Our out-of-hours service, Pet A&E, offers a comprehensive emergency service when day vets are closed. Rest assured, whether it’s emergency surgery, an urgent consultation, or admission for inpatient hospital care, our dedicated and experienced emergency team is on-site around the clock to support you when your pet needs us most.
We believe in fair pricing, day and night, so our fees are the same as Animal Trust’s daytime pricing, with just a modest, fair out-of-hours supplement of £79.
