IMPORTANT – NEW rules issued by RCVS on repeat prescriptions

CLICK FOR MORE INFO

Our prescription service is suitable for pets who require regular, long-term medication. If your pet needs medication for a controlled drug your request may be declined due to new rules implemented on 1st September 2023 by our governing body, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Please click on the link above for full information on how this affects you.

If your pet has a new problem or a reoccurring issue which they are currently not receiving medication for, please book a free consultation with your nearest Animal Trust vet to discuss your pet’s treatment options. Provided a valid prescription is in place, we will allow up to 12 months of repeat dispensing of flea and wormer medications, and a maximum of 2 months for most other medicines. Please allow 7 working days for medication requests to be processed.

Please order at least 7 working days in advance of running low on your pet’s medication to allow time for this to be approved.

We offer collection from your chosen Animal Trust surgery or a postal service for a ÂŁ5 supplement. Please note: refrigerated items and scheduled pharmaceuticals cannot be posted and must be collected.
