We’re excited to be crowdfunding with leading sustainable bank Triodos Bank to raise £2 million. We’re already halfway towards our target and it’s increasing rapidly! The money raised will enable us to fund the expansion of our network of veterinary hospitals to support local communities and ensure good veterinary care is accessible to all.
Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 3.2 million households in the UK have acquired a pet and it’s estimated that the country now has 12 million pet-owning homes (1). Not surprisingly, the demand for veterinary care has never been greater – and faced with that demand, we want to grow our surgeries to make our services accessible to more pet owners.

The funds will enable us to make a difference to communities and patients by opening new sites in areas where the available veterinary services are too expensive for local residents, such as our two recently acquired surgeries in Rhyl and Barnsley (more information will be available soon on our website), as well as supporting further growth in the future.

Owen Monie, Founder and CEO, commented: “We believe that pet ownership isn’t just for the wealthy and every animal deserves access to experienced and professional veterinary care as soon as they become ill.
“We run our business for our customers and staff and try to do it as sustainably as we can, so it’s great to be working with a similarly-minded ethical company,” he added.
