As a not-for-profit vets we’re not curtailed by shareholders motivated by profit, so we’re free to act differently and focus on the animals. We’re continually striving to make high quality veterinary treatment more affordable and being the local, friendly, go to when your pet needs help.
Animal Trust is a not-for-profit veterinary company with a refreshing attitude towards veterinary care. Each year, we care for thousands of owners and their pets who travel from near and far to access our high quality of care.
We believe in making our high standard of care accessible to pets whenever they need it, which is why our veterinary consultations are free for everyone - no matter how many times you need to visit us.
By providing free consultations, we’re working to remove the barrier between pet owners and vets to enable animals to access high-quality care as soon as they become unwell - and there’s no eligibility criteria to use us. Booking an appointment with Animal Trust means your pet can also take advantage of as many free re-checks as they require, without you having to worry about costs mounting.
As a not-for-profit company, we don’t have shareholders so all profits are invested back into our surgeries meaning we can keep our costs low and provide great value in the quality of care provided. We offer an open, honest and transparent pricing policy in relation to what it costs to provide the treatment.
We offer a fair price for an expert service whether you’re shopping around for a vaccination or need emergency life saving surgery.
It’s important to us that you don’t have an unexpected bill; most of our procedures have fixed prices which ensures you know upfront what an investigation or procedure will cost. If further treatment is required after surgery due to a complication, we’re proud to support owners and their pets by performing one further corrective surgery for no more than £100. The final cost includes the medication and laboratory tests needed to treat the complication, charging no more however much treatment we provide.
At a time when many veterinary surgeries have to refer complex cases to a specialist centre, at Animal Trust we offer a wide range of services housed within our clinics.
Couple this with our highly skilled and passionate team of vet’s, nurses and support staff; we have the ability to deliver outstanding care to every animal we meet, whether they need a total hip replacement or simply having their nails clipped.
Our team are also committed to caring for you, as well as your pet. They will offer honest advice about treatment options and will help support you throughout the process, while always having the best interests of your two, three or four-legged friends in mind.
We have a number of surgeries across the north of England. Find out more about what we can do for your pet at each of our surgeries, as well our opening times and how to contact us by following the links to the surgery pages below.
Absolutely fantastic vets, they really took care of my Tilly when she came in to have a hematoma removed – she’s a complete nightmare to deal with but they took great care of her. The wound is healing really well and I was put at ease throughout the process. Animal Trust takes the time and the effort to provide good care of both you and your pet.

I had my puppy vaccinated, microchipped and wormed this morning and I couldn’t be more pleased with how friendly and caring the staff were at the Dewsbury surgery. They are very professional and offer reasonable prices. I know my pup is in safe hands and would 100% recommend registering at Animal Trust if you have a new pet.

I can’t express how good Animal Trust has been to me and my cat. I made an appointment as soon as I registered (to avoid any long wait) and got seen straight away. The treatment was at a fraction of the cost that I was quoted by my local vet. My cat is now fine a well; these guys saved his life – I couldn’t have afforded it anywhere else. The team are pleasant professional and said nothing to me that I didn’t clearly understand. Thank you Animal Trust.

Lovely, friendly staff! They saw my German Shepherd, Hunter, the day I rang as he wasn’t eating, was vomiting and was not himself. The vet we saw was so nice, she checked him over and told us he had an upset tummy and offered us an anti sickness jab for him which we had. Today he is back to his normal self – eating, playing and wanting cuddles! Can’t thank you all enough!
