Following the continued demand for affordable veterinary care in the Shrewsbury and Shropshire areas, we are delighted to share that Animal Trust Shrewsbury has become the 4th surgery in our group to open 24/7, 365 days a year.
From the 2nd January 2021, pet owners registered with Animal Trust Shrewsbury will no longer be required to travel long distances to an external out-of-hours provider for emergency and critical care – another exciting step in our mission to make affordable veterinary care accessible to even more pets.
Speaking about the surgeries latest development, Owner and Founder of Animal Trust, Owen Monie says; ‘’Our Shrewsbury surgery has been committed to providing the best access to good care for 4 years caring 24/7 for inpatients and their service extension to provide full 24/7 operation comes in response to the need for affordable emergency and critical care in their area.’’

Animal Trust Shrewsbury opened in 2016 and remains the only veterinary surgery in the area to provide unlimited free face-to-face consultations to everyone and there is no criteria to meet when joining our community. As well as offering this along with accessibly priced care, Shrewsbury provides advanced orthopaedic surgery including total hip replacement.
