Roles Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team in Barnsley, Yorkshire. Barnsley Animal Trust are looking for a dedicated Night RVN to join their expanding team and play a pivotal role in transforming our clinic into a 24/7 hospital by mid-2025.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive overnight care for inpatients, ensuring their comfort and monitoring their condition. Assist in theatre during emergency surgeries and perform necessary procedures. Triage incoming cases to prioritise urgent care.
Skills and Qualifications
Registered Veterinary Nurse, qualified and currently registered with RCVS. Proven experience in emergency and critical care nursing. Strong ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and compassionate client interactions. Demonstrated ability to handle a varied and challenging caseload, including medical and surgical emergencies.
