    Key Responsibilities

    Provide excellent veterinary care to a wide range of sick and injured animals with access to state-of-the-art technology including endoscopy, advanced ultrasound, and orthopaedic surgery. Work collaboratively with a team of skilled vets and nurses, committed to an honest and upfront approach to animal care. Engage actively in our community, helping to maintain Animal Trust’s reputation for accessible, no-eligibility, straightforward veterinary services. Utilise and contribute to the continuous improvement of our surgical facilities, which are equipped with the latest industry-standard technology.

    Skills and Qualifications

    Qualified Veterinary Surgeon, registered or eligible to register with RCVS. Experience in handling a high caseload of varied medical and surgical conditions. Demonstrable skills in advanced veterinary procedures are preferred. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team. A passion for working within a not-for-profit environment and a commitment to the social mission of providing accessible veterinary care.

    A competitive salary ranging from £38,000 to £67,000, dependent on experience. A favourable working pattern of a 4-day week with 2:9 weekend rotations, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
