    We are seeking a dedicated Night Veterinary Surgeon to join our Ellesmere Port clinic in Cheshire. This role is crucial for providing continuous, high-quality Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) during night hours. Ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to making a difference, this position offers the unique opportunity to work in a supportive, 24-hour operational setting.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overnight ECC to a diverse caseload, ensuring consistent, high-quality care for all inpatients.

  • Utilise advanced diagnostic tools such as ultrasound, radiography, and CT during your shifts.

  • Work collaboratively with a highly skilled night nursing team and consult with other veterinary specialists, including surgeons and internal medicine experts.

  • Ensure a smooth transition of cases from the day team to night staff, maintaining continuity and quality of care.

  • Engage actively in the development and training opportunities provided to enhance clinical skills.
  • Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for emergency and critical care.

  • Proven ability to manage diverse and complex cases independently.
