We’re here for you when you need us most
We know unexpected vet bills can be stressful, so our referral care prices are priced to help owners afford treatment when a pet develops a serious condition or is injured. The cost of a procedure or operation is usually comprehensive, including the cost of anaesthesia, pain relief, medication, and most follow-up care. Plus, we charge per day for hospital stays, not for each individual test or treatment. This way, our patient gets all the care it needs and reduces the financial pressure for the pet owner.
Help With Complications
Occasional complications are a fact of surgical procedures, it doesn’t mean someone’s at fault, but it does mean further treatment may be needed. We understand that the costs of this can be a worry for clients at a time when everyone’s focus is on getting their pet better.
That’s why, if your pet has a complication shortly after their initial surgery, we will usually be able to support you with the cost of treating the complication. Read more about our complications promise here.

Free Consultations
At Animal Trust Vets, we offer free veterinary consultations because we believe every pet deserves access to professional care. Many pet owners face high costs for veterinary treatment, and charging for consultations can sometimes delay essential care.
Our free consultations give you peace of mind - your vet will assess your pet, discuss any concerns, and outline treatment options. You only pay if treatment or tests are required.
As an independent network of veterinary practices, including three Hospital A&E locations, we provide affordable general and referral-level care, with in-patient support when needed. We also offer our PawAssist Health Plan from £19.50/month to make preventive healthcare more accessible.
