Animal Trust Vets Shrewsbury is a modern veterinary surgery located in an iconic building overlooking the River Severn. With on-site parking and a calm, well-equipped environment, it provides high-quality general practice care alongside a 24/7 Pet A&E service, supporting pets across Shropshire and beyond.

In addition to helping thousands of pets with general practice veterinary care, it is also a 24/7 Pet A&E centre, helping clients from other Animal Trust surgeries and non-Animal Trust surgeries when a vet is needed most, 365 days a year. The surgery offers a wider range of services and accepts referrals from elsewhere, with many owners travelling quite some distance to access the expertise and fair, transparent Animal Trust pricing. Orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, 24/7 inpatient and critical care, free consults, and diagnostics such as X-ray, ultrasound, and on-site and reference laboratory service are all available on site. Several of the vets have areas of special interest, and the nursing team is also a central part of the care provision.

The surgery has no eligibility criteria for joining and is dedicated to providing a valuable service to the pet-owning community.

Our Prices at Animal Trust Shrewsbury

Our Prices at Animal Trust Shrewsbury

For sick pet care, you'll find many of our prices are market-leading, especially when you consider the level of inclusivity in our services, such as our commitment to supporting pets through complications and prioritising quality standards. You can see some of our surgery, investigation, and inpatient care costs here.

For elective procedures like vaccinations and neutering, we aim to offer fair pricing. However, rather than heavily discounting these services, we'd rather that the revenue is used to keep urgent and lifesaving treatments more affordable, because when a pet is seriously ill, cost should never be a barrier to care.

Out-of-Hours Pet A&E

Out-of-Hours Pet A&E

Animal Trust provides emergency out-of-hours access at our Pet A&E centres.

Our out-of-hours service, Pet A&E, offers a comprehensive emergency service when day vets are closed. Rest assured, whether it’s emergency surgery, an urgent consultation, or admission for inpatient hospital care, our dedicated and experienced emergency team is on-site around the clock to support you when your pet needs us most.

We believe in fair pricing, day and night, so our fees are the same as Animal Trust’s daytime pricing, with just a modest, fair out-of-hours supplement of £79.
