Animal Trust Vets Rhyl is a modern veterinary practice providing affordable, high-quality care for pets across Rhyl, Prestatyn, Kinmel Bay and surrounding North Wales. Whether you're a local pet owner or visiting the area on holiday, our friendly team is here to help, with same-day appointments usually available for pets needing urgent veterinary care. 

Our experienced vets and veterinary nurses provide free consultations, vaccinations, surgery, dental care, medical investigations, X-ray and ultrasound, with access to advanced treatments including CT scanning, 24/7 inpatient care and Pet A&E at our Ellesmere Port hospital

Opened in 2022, our purpose-built veterinary surgery on Wellington Road is easy to reach from the A55 and offers ample free parking, including electric vehicle charging points. We also have Welsh-speaking members of the team, helping us provide a welcoming service for local communities. 

There are no eligibility criteria to register with Animal Trust Rhyl. Our mission is to make high-quality, affordable veterinary care accessible to every pet and owner.

Animal Trust provides 24/7 emergency veterinary care at its Pet A&E hospitals and centres. Our emergency vets are available day and night, including weekends and bank holidays, to treat pets that become suddenly ill or seriously injured.

From urgent assessment and diagnostics to emergency surgery and inpatient hospital care, our teams can provide ongoing treatment when your pet needs it most. Pet A&E is open to everyone — your pet does not need to be registered with Animal Trust.
