Animal Trust Ellesmere Port
Ellesmere Port Surgery is located next to Ellesmere Port Railway Station and just off M53 Junction 9, making it exceptionally easy to get to from a wide area. In addition to helping thousands of pets with general practice veterinary care, it is also a 24/7 Pet A&E centre, helping clients from other Animal Trust Surgeries and sometimes even non-Animal Trust surgeries when a vet is needed most—365 days a year.
The surgery is full service, offering orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, advanced imaging such as CT scanning and complex ultrasound, 24/7 Inpatient and critical care, as well as free consults and diagnostics such as X-rays and onsite and reference laboratory services. Several of the vets have further qualifications in their areas of special interest, and they accept referrals not only from Animal Trust surgeries but also from other vets. Areas of particular interest include ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, and inpatient and complex medical cases.
The surgery has no eligibility criteria for joining and is dedicated to providing a valuable service to the pet-owning community.

Our Prices at Animal Trust Ellesmere Port
For sick pet care, you'll find many of our prices are market-leading, especially when you consider the level of inclusivity in our services, such as our commitment to supporting pets through complications and prioritising quality standards. You can see some of our surgery, investigation, and inpatient care costs here.
For elective procedures like vaccinations and neutering, we aim to offer fair pricing. However, rather than heavily discounting these services, we'd rather that the revenue is used to keep urgent and lifesaving treatments more affordable, because when a pet is seriously ill, cost should never be a barrier to care.

Out-of-Hours Pet A&E
Animal Trust provides emergency out-of-hours access at our Pet A&E centres.
Our out-of-hours service, Pet A&E, offers a comprehensive emergency service when day vets are closed. Rest assured, whether it’s emergency surgery, an urgent consultation, or admission for inpatient hospital care, our dedicated and experienced emergency team is on-site around the clock to support you when your pet needs us most.
We believe in fair pricing, day and night, so our fees are the same as Animal Trust’s daytime pricing, with just a modest, fair out-of-hours supplement of £79.
