Qualifications 

  • Minimum of five Level 2 qualifications (GCSE A*–C / 9–4) including English, Maths, and a Science subject. 

  • Either completed Level 2 Diploma in Veterinary Care Support or have at least one year of hands-on veterinary practice experience.

How do I apply?

When do I start college?

After passing your 6-month probation, you’ll begin your Level 3 Diploma coursework, depending on college intake dates.

Can I stay on after qualifying?

Yes! Successful apprentices often transition into permanent nursing positions.

What are the pay rates?

Real living wage for probationary period before enrolling at college, then apprenticeship wage during apprenticeship, followed by national wage following successful completion of college course.
