Reception RVN Careers at Animal Trust Vets

Make a Real Difference – Join Animal Trust as a Reception RVN

Passion for animals? Great people skills? Want a role that matters? At Animal Trust, we believe that every pet deserves access to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care, no matter their owner’s income. As the UK’s only veterinary Community Interest Company (CIC), we’re on a mission to make veterinary care fairer, more accessible and truly centred on welfare.

By joining us as a Reception RVN (Non-Clinical), you’ll play a vital role in ensuring pets and their owners receive the support and kindness they need, right from the front door.

Why This Role Matters

  • You’re the first point of contact. As a Reception RVN, you'll be welcoming clients and their pets, calmly triaging cases, managing appointments, and ensuring the smooth flow of patients through our clinics.

  • Support the team and the mission. Your work helps clinical staff focus on care, while you deliver outstanding client experience and compassionate guidance.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A qualified and registered veterinary nurse (RVN), with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

  • A calm, compassionate communicator who prioritises animal welfare and great client care.

  • Someone organised, confident with diary and reception management, and able to juggle calm triage with a potentially busy reception desk.

  • A team-oriented mindset – but also someone comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions when needed.

What You’ll Get from Us

  • A workplace driven by purpose: we’re not about profit – we’re about pets, people, and community.

  • The chance to contribute meaningfully to affordable, accessible pet care, helping animals and owners who might otherwise avoid veterinary treatment.

  • A supportive, collaborative culture where every role, from reception to surgery, matters.

Does This Feel Like It's for You?

If you’re an RVN who believes in putting purpose before profit – if you care about animals and their owners, and want to use your compassion, communication and organisational skills for good – then you might be exactly who we’re looking for. See link below.
