Animal Trust Vets to Open Its First Practice in Hull Early in 2027
Animal Trust Vets is opening its first Hull practice in early 2027, offering affordable GP services, a 24/7 Pet A&E hospital and referral centre
30 Jul 2025

New, not-for-profit veterinary practice will bring affordable everyday vet care, a 24/7 Pet A&E hospital and referral services to pets in Hull and across East Yorkshire.
Animal Trust Vets is happy to announce plans for the opening of its very first practice in Hull, in early 2027, bringing its unique not-for-profit approach to veterinary care to pet owners across the region. The new site will offer both everyday GP veterinary services and a 24/7 Pet A&E hospital, ensuring pets have access to affordable care whenever they need it. The hospital will also become a referral centre, supporting veterinary practices across the area with advanced diagnostics and offering complex surgical procedures.
Bringing affordable veterinary care to Hull
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), Animal Trust exists to make high-quality veterinary care more accessible. Rather than generating profits for shareholders, any surplus is reinvested into improving facilities, equipment and services for pets.
The opening of the Hull practice represents another significant milestone in Animal Trust's continued growth, expanding access to affordable veterinary care for thousands more pets and their owners.
Whether it's a routine vaccination, a health check, surgery or emergency treatment in the middle of the night, the new Hull team will be there to provide compassionate care around the clock, 365 days a year.
A complete veterinary service under one roof
The new practice will offer a wide range of services, including:
Routine veterinary consultations
Vaccinations and preventative healthcare
Diagnostics and imaging
Surgical procedures
In-house laboratory testing
Referral services for more complex cases
Having everyday vet care, emergency, GP and referral services together in one location means pets can receive seamless care without the need to travel between different practices.
Supporting local veterinary practices
As a referral centre, the Hull hospital will work alongside veterinary practices throughout Hull, East Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. Referring vets will have access to advanced diagnostics, experienced clinicians and modern surgical facilities, helping ensure pets receive the care they need while maintaining continuity with their usual veterinary practice.
